Becoming A Licensee

Every year, the portable rechargeable power industry produces millions of rechargeable battery packs to power products like cordless tools, cellular and cordless phones, laptop computers, digital cameras, two-way radios, camcorders, and remote control toys. But when those long-life batteries die, they need to be recycled.

The Call2Recycle® program offers an easy solution to battery manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers. When you place the EPA-approved RBRC Battery Recycling Seals on your battery packs, Call2Recycle recycles them—keeping them out of landfills, and promoting a safer, cleaner environment for everyone. And, our recycling program meets all federal and state laws, including the Battery Act, for recycling Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion), and Small Sealed Lead* (Pb) rechargeable batteries.
