Call2Recycle’s mission is to safely and efficiently collect and transport batteries from over 34,000 collection locations across North America. Our established processor and sorter standards are some of the most rigorous in the world, and we seek third party certification to ensure proper downstream management of battery collections and recycling.
As part of our commitment to transparency, we make a variety of audit documents and certifications readily available to our stakeholders. Simply visit call2recycle.org/certifications/ to access documents that support our joint commitment to environmental excellence.
Participating sites can also request to receive a Certificate of Recycling that verifies the shipper, receiving facility, and weight of each shipment. Materials received on the Certificate of Recycling are processed in accordance with transportation and environmental regulations.
