Recycling Fun in the Sun!

Hundreds of families turned out to celebrate Earth Day at the Burbank Recycling Center on Saturday, April 21st. The event, promoted and hosted by the center staff, included live bands, a tour of the recycling facility, local sustainability resources, panel discussions, face painting and live animals, as well as other family-oriented activities. Caption This! Competition Inspires Creativity and Environmental Awareness to Celebrate Earth Day

For three weeks in April, Call2Recycle teamed up with Lowe’s to present the Caption This! Competition to encourage environmental awareness in time for Earth Day.
