Since 2007, The City of Elk Grove has partnered with Call2Recycle to promote environmental stewardship to its residents. Through the program, we’ve recycled nearly 20,000 pounds of batteries. Safety and Partner Engagement Drive Call2Recycle® Program Collections

Atlanta – January 23, 2019 – U.S. consumers recycled 7.2 million pounds of batteries in 2018 through the Call2Recycle® program, according to the organization. These outcomes underscore the program’s mission to responsibly recycle consumer batteries while increasing consumer focus on battery safety.
