Since 2007, The City of Elk Grove has partnered with Call2Recycle to promote environmental stewardship to its residents. Through the program, we’ve recycled nearly 20,000 pounds of batteries. Atlanta – January 23, 2019 – U.S. consumers recycled 7.2 million pounds of batteries in 2018 through the Call2Recycle® program, according to the organization.
