All Battery Recycling Pilot Program – RadioShack Stores – Central Arkansas

Committed to preserving the environment and improving the lives of the people who live in the communities they serve, RadioShack, in conjunction with Call2Recycle®, will accept all household batteries* for recycling at local Central Arkansas RadioShack store locations.

Batteries are the power source in many common cordless products such as: radios, remote controls, flashlights, smoke detectors, clocks, toys, cameras, cellphones, cordless phones, laptops, camcorders, mp3 players, PDAs, cordless power tools, two-way radios, solar lighting, electric toothbrushes, and electric razors.

The batteries accepted for recycling all sizes of:

One-Time Use Batteries:Rechargeable Batteries:
-Alkaline-Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd)
-Lithium-Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH)
-Carbon Zinc-Nickel Zinc (Ni-Zn)
-Silver Oxide-Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)
-Other non-rechargeable batteries-Small Sealed Lead Acid (Pb)

Area residents can visit any of the following RadioShack stores to recycle all your household batteries.
