US Shipping Policies to Change in January

As a part of our continuous effort to be a fiscally and environmentally responsible steward, Call2Recycle has updated its shipping policies, effective January 16, 2017.  Collection sites should be aware of two important changes:

  • For many customers, FedEx will replace UPS in handling the shipment of your full Call2Recycle boxes. FedEx will deliver your collection boxes which will now feature a FedEx prepaid return shipping label. Any boxes you have in your inventory with UPS return labels can still be used to return batteries to be recycled. The states that will continue to be serviced via UPS are: Florida, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming.
  • POSTPONED For all bulk shipping customers, the wizard will be replaced by a shipping request online. Instead of scheduling a shipment through the wizard, you will now request a shipping authorization. These requests will be routed to our logistics team who will contact you within 48 hours of your request, then arrange for the best carrier to handle your shipment.

We appreciate your patience as we transition to the new process. Watch your email for more information on these changes. If you have questions or comments, please contact our Customer Service team at 1.877.723.1297 or via email.
