TORONTO (January 17, 2014) – The launch of a national battery recycling initiative between the Government of Canada and Call2Recycle Canada, Inc. will soon provide improved options to properly dispose of used batteries. In late 2013, Call2Recycle®—North America’s first and largest battery stewardship program—was selected as the preferred provider for battery recycling for Canada’s federal government agencies and departments.
