June 28, 2013 marked Seattle’s second Battery Recycling Day which intended to increase awareness of the importance of battery recycling. Response from the Seattle community was outstanding. SEATTLE (June 28, 2013) – Residents are encouraged to do their part for the environment by bringing their old batteries to Westlake Park in celebration of the second annual Battery Recycling Day.
