Under New York Law, rechargeable battery manufacturers must arrange for and finance the recycling of rechargeable batteries collected by retailers. Call2Recycle^® is currently the State-approved stewardship plan that allows consumers to recycle rechargeable batteries through a convenient network of drop-off locations. Here is the list of active steward producers.

If you are a manufacturer of rechargeable batteries and not currently a rechargeable battery steward of Call2Recycle, you can either participate in an alternative group or operate your own program. If you are interested in becoming an industry steward of Call2Recycle, please contact us.
